CCTV cameras being installed at Ajantha Signal as part of security arrangements for Prime Minister’s visit to Puducherry. | Photo Credit: SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT The town and adjoining areas of Puducherry have come under a tight security cover for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s roadshow along the stretch from Ajantha Theatre Junction to Anna Thidal on Friday. Around 1,500 personnel from the territorial police, besides those from Central Armed Police Forces, will be deployed for traffic and law and order duty during the Prime Minister’s visit. The traffic police have imposed restrictions on movement of vehicles in several parts of the town.
