Four students of PES Engineering College, Mandya, have secured placements in reputed international companies during 2026. Among those placed in 2026 are Hitashree L. (CSE) at Spike Studio, Sandeep Kumar (ME) at Star Seiki Co. Ltd., Tripti G. (civil) at Taguchi Pattern Works Co. Ltd., and Sohana M.V. (ECE) at Daido Steel Co. Ltd., all in Japan, said a statement issued by the college here. The Training and Placement Department of the college, in coordination with principal N.L. Murali Krishna, vice-principal Vinay S., and Training and Placement officer Deepthi K.P. facilitated the recruitment process. Japan-based Zenken Corporation played a key role in the initiative, assisting in connecting engineering graduates with companies in Japan. The organisation also provided language training, cultural orientation, career guidance and visa support, the statement said. In the previous academic cycle (2024-25), Mohammed Yasin secured a position with Towell Infrastructure Projects Co. LLC in Oman, while Prajwal J.P. (ECE) and Pavan A. Satvik (ECE) were placed in Japan with Taloho Seiki Co. Ltd. and Hitachi Industrial Equipment Systems Co. Ltd., respectively. Earlier, in 2023-24, Kavyashree D.C. (EEE) joined Suruga Production Platform Co. Ltd., Japan, and Vishwanath Suresh Satpute (ME) was placed at Sanwa General Contractor Inc., Japan. Students placed during the 2024-25 academic year have already joined their respective organisations abroad, the statement said. The statement noted that the placements reflect its focus on equipping students with technical expertise, language skills and cultural adaptability required to succeed in international work environments.
