MOORTHY The MDMK candidate for the Sirkazhi (reserved) constituency will also contest on the ‘Rising Sun’ symbol of the DMK, party general secretary Vaiko said on Wednesday. Allotted four seats The MDMK has been allotted four seats in the DMK alliance. Earlier, the party had announced that three of its candidates would contest on the Rising Sun symbol, while one would contest on its own symbol. However, the party has now revised its position and stated that the Sirkazhi candidate, R. Senthilselval, will also contest the election on the ‘Rising Sun’ symbol of the DMK.
