Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) Commissioner, Ketan Garg, has directed officials to expedite the road widening works being undertaken from NSTL to Gopalapatnam Kumari Kalyana Mandapam Junction, which is a Giri Pradakshina route in the West Zone. On Wednesday, he inspected the 80-feet Master Plan road in Wards 91 and 92. Speaking on the occasion, the Commissioner said that as part of the 80-feet Master Plan road from Gopalapatnam Kumari Kalyana Mandapam to NSTL, the first phase of 40-feet road widening works has been taken up. He instructed officials to complete the works at the earliest and reminded that residents had submitted petitions in the PGRS regarding road widening issues.
