Last date to apply for admissions to KGBVs extended

Samagra Shiksha State Project Director B. Srinivasa Rao on Wednesday (April 1) said the last date for submitting online applications for admissions to classes 6 and 11 for the academic year 2026–27 as well as for filling vacant seats in Classes 7, 8, 9, 10, and 12 at 352 Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) across the State has been extended till April 10.

In a statement, Mr. Rao said the applications had been scheduled to close on April 1, but based on requests from parents, the last date was extended.

Orphan girls, out-of-school children, dropouts as well as girls from poor families, SC, ST, BC, minority and below poverty line categories were eligible to apply.
