The West Zone police of Vijayawada on Wednesday (April 1) took five suspects who had earlier been arrested for allegedly having links with terrorist outfits such as ISIS and AQIS into police custody from Rajahmundry Central Prison for questioning. The court had granted the police five days of custody of the suspects, said Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP-West Zone) N.S.V.K. Durga Rao, who is investigating the case. The Two Town police had arrested 12 people who allegedly had links with ISIS and AQIS leaders.
