The police registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, against a man for allegedly misbehaving with a five-year-old girl in Machilipatnam town. The child was his neighbour. The accused was identified as Abdul Kalam, who worked as an autorickshaw driver. Following a complaint, the Inagudurupet police registered a case on Tuesday, and the victim was admitted to hospital for medical test. An investigation is on, the police said.
