The Sports Authority of India and the Cycling Federation of India have jointly organised a national MTB (Mountain Bike) talent identification and training camp in association with the Mysuru District Cycling Association.

A total of 25 budding cyclists, comprising 10 girls and 15 boys from various States across the country, are currently undergoing training in Mysuru under the national camp.

The athletes on Wednesday (April 1) interacted with Bhaskar Naik, Assistant Director of the Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports, Mysuru. He encouraged them to strive for excellence in competitive cycling.

The camp is being led by chief coach Fariyal Jamadar, assisted by coaches Bhanu Prasad and Dipak Singh.

Mysuru District Cycling Association secretary Lokesh N. and vice-president Ramesh N. were also present.
