The death of a 13-year-old girl who fell from the fifth floor of a building has been ruled a suspected case of suicide, according to the Tirupati police. The girl’s family, originally from Nepal, had migrated to Tirupati in search of a livelihood. As she used to do reels on social media platforms, it was initially thought to be an accidental fall while filming them. However, it has allegedly turned out to be a case of suicide, as her love story with a relative, who happened to be her elder brother, came to public attention. Alipiri Inspector P. Rama Kishore said that they suspected it to be a case of suicide after her love story came to the attention of her parents. Her father, who is employed as a watchman in an apartment under Alipiri police limits, and her mother reportedly scolded her over the affair, which is believed to have driven the girl to take the extreme step.
