A 45-year-old person was killed after his autorickshaw overturned on Poonamallee High Road on Wednesday. The traffic police said P. Alexander, a resident of Poonamallee, owned an autorickshaw and was also involved in the business of selling flowers to the shops in the locality. On Wednesday, as Alexander was proceeding in his autorickshaw on Poonamallee High Road, the three-wheeler suddenly skidded and overturned, and hit the concrete barricade kept for the elevated bridge work.
