He also lashed out on Tuesday (March 31, 2026) at allies who have been unwilling to do more to support the U.S. war effort, declaring that securing the Strait of Hormuz is “not for us.” This came after China and Pakistan on Tuesday (March 31, 2026) put forward a five-point peace proposal to end the West Asia war.
