Class X boy, suspect in murder case, goes into hiding in Theni district

In a shocking incident, a Class X student, allegedly figuring in a gruesome murder, reportedly absconded with a few of his friends and relatives in Chinnamanur in Theni district on Tuesday.

Police said Surya, 28, a daily wage earner, was murdered by a gang, which included the Class X boy. It is said that Surya scolded the teenaged boy for talking with his sister, who was also studying in the same school.
