Priya advance to women’s 60kg quarterfinals

Priya won her opening bout to advance to the women’s 60kg quarterfinals, while Jadumani Singh made an early exit in the men’s 55kg category at the Asian boxing championships in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, on Tuesday (March 331, 2026).

Priya’s well-controlled performance helped her beat Kazakhstan’s Rimma Volossenko 5-0 and set up a last-eight clash with second-seeded two-time World championships medallist Chengyu Yang of China.

Jadumani, a World Boxing Cup Finals (WBCF) silver medallist in 50kg, lost 2-3 to third-seeded Japanese Rui Yamaguchi, a WBCF bronze medallist in 55kg.
