He was campaigning for the DMK’s candidate for Paapireddipatti, P. Palaniappan, in Dharmapuri on Tuesday (March 31, 2026). Urging the people to turn up for the elections on April 23, Mr. Udhayanidhi made the call as an appeal from the grandson of DMK patriarch Karunanidhi and the son of DMK leader and Chief Minister M.K. Stalin.
