The Election Observers on Tuesday inspected the election control rooms and media certification and monitoring centres and reviewed the number of poll-related complaints received and disposed off so far in Tirunelveli district. Accompanied by Collector R. Sukumar, General Observers for the five Assembly constituencies in the district Hrishikesh Baskar Yashod and Anubha Shrivatsava inspected the round-the-clock election control room and the media certification and monitoring centres, both located on the premises of the District Collectorate. From the election control room, they monitored the movement of 45 flying squads and as many static squads deployed across the district in GPS-fitted vehicles.
