The Railways on Tuesday announced the operation of bi-weekly special express trains between Charlapalli and Santragachi via Duvvada in Visakhapatnam, to run through April 2026, catering to passengers travelling across the South Central and East Coast Railway corridors. According to a release issued by Senior Divisional Commercial Manager K. Pavan Kumar, Train No. 07221 Charlapalli-Santragachi Bi-weekly Special will depart Charlapalli at 05.40 hrs every Saturday and Tuesday from April 4 to April 28. It will reach Duvvada at 19.55 hrs the same day and arrive at Santragachi at 11.00 hrs the following day. The service will operate eight trips during the period.
