Officials clear garbage dump after public complaints in Kadapa

A huge garbage dump that had piled up for days at Mutharasupalle was cleared after local legislator and Government Whip Reddeppagari Madhavi Reddy admonished the civic officials.

The main junction in Kadapa city, which had been in a state of disarray for quite some time, reflected poorly on civic indifference. After receiving public complaints in the form of representations about the potential health hazards posed by the garbage dump, Ms. Madhavi Reddy visited the site along with civic officials.

Admonishing the officials for turning a blind eye to public health, she directed them to clean the area on a war-footing. The citizens hailed the speed at which the area was cleared by the end of the day.
