As part of the Census 2027, the residents of Mysuru district have been provided with an opportunity to participate in the self-enumeration through a secure web portal . A statement here said the house listing and housing census will be held in Mysuru district for a total of 30 days from April 15 to May 15, 2026. However, prior to the house listing and housing census, the residents of Mysuru district have been provided with a 15-day window from April 1 to 15, 2026 for self-enumeration. For self-enumeration, citizens must log in to the website www.se.census.gov.in and answer 33 questions related to house listing and housing census. After successfully submitting the self-enumeration details, a reference ID will be sent to the registered mobile number via SMS and to the email ID through the portal. The process will be completed by providing the reference ID when the enumerator visits the household. “If the reference ID is not provided, the enumerator will have to ask all the questions again and conduct the enumeration afresh,” the statement said. By participating in self-enumeration, citizens can avoid the time required during the enumerator’s visit, the statement said. Deputy Commissioner of Mysuru G. Lakshmikant Reddy has appealed to the public to participate in the self enumeration process in large numbers.
