Photo credit: X/@CBIHeadquarters The CBI has arrested a senior officer of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) for allegedly accepting a bribe of ₹4 lakh, officials said on Tuesday (March 31, 2026). The agency identified the officer as Lt. Col. Abhishek Kumar Mishra, Deputy Commissioner, Shahdara North, MCD. According to the officials, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) made the arrest after receiving information about Mishra’s demand for the bribe.
