The Kochi City police have imposed traffic restrictions in connection with the AFC Asian Cup 2027 qualifier match between the national football teams of India and Hong Kong to be held at the Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium in Kaloor on Tuesday.

Spectators coming from West Kochi, Vypeen, and nearby areas are advised to park their vehicles along Chathyath Road and use public transport systems, including the metro, to reach the stadium.

Vehicles coming from Paravur, Thrissur and Malappuram areas should be parked safely around Aluva and along Container Road. Vehicles coming from Idukki, Kottayam, and Perumbavoor should be parked in Thripunithura and Kakkanad areas. Vehicles coming from southern regions including Alappuzha should be parked safely in Kundannoor and Vyttila areas.

Heavy vehicles carrying spectators will not be allowed to enter the city.

After 5 p.m., vehicles travelling from Ernakulam towards Edappally, Cheranalloor, Aluva, and Kakkanad should turn left at Kaloor Junction and proceed via Pottakkuzhy-Mamangalam Road, BTS Road, and Elamakkara Road to reach Edappally.

After 5 p.m., vehicles from Cheranalloor, Edappally, Aluva, Kakkanad, and Palarivattom towards Ernakulam should travel via Vyttila Junction and S.A. Road.
