NTPC Simhadri unit head Ayaskanta Jena on Monday (March 30) said the ₹1.85 lakh crore Pudimadaka Green Hydrogen Hub is moving into an active execution phase, with critical work packages currently being finalised. During the Media Meet 2026 held on the plant premises here on Monday, Mr. Jena confirmed that this ambitious initiative, for which Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone last year, remains on schedule to establish India’s first integrated Green Hydrogen Hub near Visakhapatnam.
