File | Photo Credit: ANI Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Chennai and Puducherry on April 3 and 4 for electioneering in Tamil Nadu and the Union Territory, which will go to the polls on April 23 and April 9, respectively, sources said. The Greater Chennai City Police are making elaborate bandobust arrangements in view of the VVIP visit. Mr. Modi will arrive at the Chennai airport on the afternoon of April 3 and will then fly to Puducherry, where he will address a public meeting in the evening to canvass votes for candidates of the BJP and its allies. He will then return to Chennai. On the next day, April 4, he will interact with around 100 party functionaries and others in Chennai. Subsequently, he will campaign for his party’s candidate in Mylapore. Sources said he is expected to conduct a roadshow in T. Nagar or another part of the city.
