Opposition parties in Maharashtra criticised the State government on Sunday over the death of a resident of Akola while allegedly standing in a queue outside a gas agency.

The family of Shankarrao Shirsat, 75, former sarpanch of Anvi Mirzapur village, had filed a complaint at the Akola police station alleging that he died on Saturday while waiting for an LPG cylinder.
