Four persons, including a school student, died in two different accidents near Madukkarai in Coimbatore district on Sunday (March 29, 2026). The police said that C. Srinithi (16), a Class XI student from TAHDCO Colony at K.G. Chavadi, died after she was hit by a truck at 6.45 p.m. on Sunday. The accident took place when she was sitting in front of her residence on the service road of Salem – Kochi highway. A negligently driven LPG truck veered off the road and hit her.
