In a push towards cybercrime victim restitution, the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB), in coordination with the Telangana State Legal Services Authority and financial institutions, facilitated refunds worth ₹24.91 crore to 4,627 victims through the first Lok Adalat of 2026 held on Saturday, March 28, 2026. Among the top performing units, the TGCSB headquarters led with refunds amounting to ₹5.64 crore benefiting 87 victims. The Malkajgiri unit accounted for ₹4.79 crore returned to 832 victims, followed by the Hyderabad unit with ₹3.99 crore refunded to 553 victims. Cyberabad and Sangareddy units facilitated refunds of ₹1.52 crore each, benefiting 837 and 161 victims respectively.
