Elaborate arrangement has been made at the office of Returning Officers of seven Assembly constituencies in Virudhunagar district ahead of the process of filing of nominations beginning on Monday for the April 23 Assembly election. The nominations would be received between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. every day till April 6. With four days — March 31, April 1, 3 and 5– being holidays, the nominations could be filed only on four days. Only three vehicles would be allowed for the candidates upto 100 metre-mark, Virudhunagar District Election Officer N. O. Sukhaputra said in a statement.
