The Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) has nominated youths in most constituencies in central districts. Former AIADMK Minister Ku. Pa. Krishnan and Karur west district secretary V. P. Mathiyazhagan, one of the accused in the Karur stampede case that claimed 41 lives during the rally addressed by the party founder Vijay on September 27, 2025, were among the prominent faces in the TVK candidates list. While Mr. Krishnan has been fielded from Lalgudi, Mr. Mathiyazhagan will contest for Karur seat. Navalpattu S. Viji, who had quit the DMK and joined the TVK recently, has been given the party ticket from Tiruverumbur constituency. Most of candidates are youths. Almost all district secretaries of the party have been given the party ticket. R. Kathiravan, Tiruchi South district secretary of the TVK, will be the candidate in Manapparai. G. Ramamoorthy, V. Saravanan, M. Vignesh, party functionaries, have been nominated for Tiruchi West, Manachanallur, and Musiri respectively. S. Ramesh, State coordinator, press and media, has been fielded from Srirangam. M. Ravishankar, Tiruchi Rural West district secretary, will be the candidate for Thuraiyur (SC). The party has fielded P. Karthikeyan and S. Mathan in Aravakurichi and Krishnarayapuram (SC) constituencies. G. Balasubramani, Karur East District secretary, will be the candidate in Kulithalai. M. Sivakumar, Ariyalur district secretary, has been nominated in Ariyalur constituency. K. Sivakumar, Perambalur district secretary, will be the candidate in Perambalur. M. Revathi and Kavitha G. Rajendran, party functionaries, have been nominated to Kunnam and Jayankondam respectively.
