‘Emotional integration must for a clear, collective vision forward’

The former Vice-Chancellor of Sharnbasva University Niranjan Nisty has emphasised that unity, harmony and emotional integration are the true pillars of national progress.

He eloquently noted that the nation draws its real strength from Hindus and Muslims living together like its two eyes, equal, indispensable and essential for a clear and collective vision forward.

He was speaking at an Id Milan programme where a book, Arivina Belaku (Light of Knowledge), authored by retired engineer Abdul Khader, was released.

The event was organised by Jamaat-e-Islami Hind at Hidayat Centre in Kalaburagi on Sunday.

Referring to conflicts in the Middle East, Dr. Nisty emphasised the importance of upholding the spirit of brotherhood in the current global context and expressed concern over wars driven by wealth, security considerations and ego.

He said that India has emerged as a strong nation owing to the collective efforts and unity of people of all religions and not because of any single political party.

He added that artificial intelligence, economic growth, national security and prosperity are key to further development.

President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Mangaluru unit, Ishaq Puttur said that India is a country of diverse religions where festivals symbolise joy and humanity.

He emphasised the need for patience, control over anger, constructive speech and good habits. He added that peace in families and society can be achieved through tolerance and understanding.

He also called for compassion, integrity and respect for parents and urged people to help one another, irrespective of religion or caste and to live in harmony with their neighbours.

Mr. Khader said that his book seeks to explain in a simple manner the human values emphasised in the Quran, awareness of the Creator, righteous conduct, and responsibilities towards family and society.
