Commissioner (Handlooms and Textiles) and Vice-Chairperson and Managing Director, APCO, G. Rekha Rani received the award at the SKOCH Summit in New Delhi on Saturday (March 28, 2026). A statement issued by the Department of Handlooms and Textiles said that the recognition highlights APCO’s commitment towards digital transformation and aligns with the State government’s vision for modernisation and sustainable growth of the handloom sector. It also serves as an encouragement to further strengthen initiatives aimed at improving the livelihood of weavers and promoting handloom products at a wider platform, it noted.
