Stalin will launch his Tamil Nadu Assembly election campaign from Tiruvarur, the hometown of his father and former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi, on March 31, 2026 (Tuesday). Karunanidhi was elected from the Tiruvarur constituency in the 2011 and 2016 Assembly elections. Mr. Stalin will address a meeting on South Street near the Tiruvarur Thyagarajaswamy Temple and cover the Mannargudi, Tiruvarur, Kizhvelur, Nannilam and Thiruthuraipoondi constituencies on the same day. According to a party release, on the second day, his campaign will cover Assembly constituencies in Tiruchirappalli district and Karur district on April 2 (Thursday). The third day will be dedicated to constituencies in Erode and Coimbatore districts.
