Dinesh Kumar takes charge as first Collector of Polavaram District

AYUSH Department Director K. Dinesh Kumar, on Saturday, took charge as the first District Collector of the newly formed Polavaram District, headquartered in Ramapachodavaram.

The Polavaram district was carved out of the Alluri Sitharama Raju district. It consists of Ramapachodavaram and Chintoor Integrated Tribal Development Agencies.

Joint Collector and Rampachodavaram ITDA Project Director B. Smaran Raj briefed the Collector about the infrastructure facilities and proposed construction of the new office buildings in Rampachodavaram. Earlier, Mr. Dinesh Kumar has served as the Commissioner of the Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation.
