Satish U. Pai, Executive Chairman of Manipal Media Network Ltd., was conferred the honorary Doctor of Letters (DLitt) degree in recognition of his significant contributions to the printing industry at the 8th convocation of Srinivas University here on Saturday. Responding to the recognition, Mr. Pai said, “’Letters’ are always truthful and form the core of the printing profession. Letters are the power of language and serve as a medium through which thoughts travel from one mind to another.” He further said, “Today’s students are the voice of a new India. The world will not wait for you, but it will create opportunities for you. Today you receive your degree; tomorrow you will stand before choices.
