Metrowater offices to be open on holidays for water, sewer tax payment

Chennai Metrowater’s area offices will remain open on Mahavir Jayanthi (March 31), to facilitate consumers paying water, sewer tax and charges.

A press release said consumers would have to remit water, sewer tax and charges by March 31 to avoid surcharges. Residents may also pay tax and charges through multiple methods, including UPI, E-seva centres, and online https://bnc.chennaimetrowater.in/#/public/cus-login by using credit, debit cards and net banking facility. The water agency also offers QR code and iPoS payment facilities at its offices.
