A press release said consumers would have to remit water, sewer tax and charges by March 31 to avoid surcharges. Residents may also pay tax and charges through multiple methods, including UPI, E-seva centres, and online https://bnc.chennaimetrowater.in/#/public/cus-login by using credit, debit cards and net banking facility. The water agency also offers QR code and iPoS payment facilities at its offices.
