The Institute of Cost Accountants of India – Hyderabad Chapter, in association with its Sathavahana and Warangal Chapters, and in collaboration with the Income Tax department, organised a seminar on the ‘Income Tax Act, 2025’ where the speakers delivered insightful information on inventory valuation and the structural changes in the new Income Tax framework. Shahnawaz Ul Rahman, Commissioner of Income Tax was the chief guest and in his address, he emphasised the importance of understanding the evolving tax framework and encouraged professionals to stay updated with the latest reforms. Prominent dignitaries present on the occasion included K.C.H.A.V.S.N. Murthy, Central Council Member; KVN Lavanya, SIRC Treasurer; Khaja Jalal Uddin, Chairman, Hyderabad Chapter and Kirti Gupta, Secretary among others.
