Till now, the party has named 150 candidates including 23 in the first list. An interesting feature of the list was the inclusion of P. Saravanan, who in 2021 contested in the AIADMK-led front as a nominee of the BJP in Madurai (North). This time too, he is trying his luck from the same seat. Chidambaram The Election Commission on Friday night published the second supplementary list under the SIR of electoral rolls in West Bengal, an official said. The poll panel, however, did not provide details on the total number of deletions or inclusions in the second list. Booth-wise lists were made available on the EC website around 11.30 p.m., but the web pages containing data about deletions or inclusions could not be accessed due to some “technical glitches”, EC said. In Tamil Nadu, the election will be conducted on April 23. The first phase of elections will be held on April 23, 2026, in West Bengal, and the second phase on April 29, 2026.
