LPG commercial cylinder customers asked to register for PNG connection

The Union government has asked commercial LPG consumers to register for Piped Natural Gas (PNG) connections to avail themselves of the benefit of additional LPG allocation.

A press statement said that in view of the LPG crisis because of the US, Israel, Iran war, the allocation of commercial LPG was initially reduced to 20% by the Central government. This was increased in phases and now commercial customers were entitled to upto 70% of the pre-crisis level.
