Sri Rama Navami celebrated with religious fervour in Vizianagaram district

All temples of Lord Rama in Vizianagaram district wore a festive look on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami on Friday. On behalf of the State government, Minister for MSME Kondapalli Srinivas offered pattuvastrams to the presiding deity in the historic Ramateertham temple in Nellimarla constituency of the district.

Sri Rama Pattabhisekham was performed in the famous Ramanarayama temple, which is constructed in the form of Lord Rama’s bow. Elaborate arrangements were made for devotees visiting the temple from different parts of the North Andhra region. Temples located in different parts of the district were seen holding cultural and charitable activities. Devotees participated in the ‘Sitarama Kalyanam’ performed at Ring Road, GT Road, Vasant Vihar Regency, Nagavamsapu street and other areas.
