A total of ₹50.02 lakh cash and jewellery worth ₹14.23 crore seized by Flying Squad Teams and Static Surveillance Teams have been returned to the owners on production of related documents in Virudhunagar district. District Election Officer N.O. Sukhaputra has formed District Grievance Committee led by Project Director, District Rural Development Agency, V. Kesavadasan, to deal with release of the cash and properties seized by the FSTs and SSTs. The team comprises District Treasury Officer, A. Venkateswaran and Accounts Officer, DRDA, S. Visalakshi.
