The Krishnagiri district administration has invited textile companies seeking to set up stalls at the International Textile Summit, scheduled for the end of this month in Coimbatore, to apply online by January 13. According to the administration, the International Textile Summit has been conceived with the stated goal of transforming Tamil Nadu into a 1 trillion USD economy by 2030, and textile industry’s participation in it. The summit envisions conferences, exhibitions, buyer-seller meets, fashion shows among a slew of events. Textile firms are invited to participate in the summit by setting up stalls and finding exposure to foreign markets and avenues for orders. They can apply online for setting up stalls by January 13, by emailing Deputy Director, Textiles, Salem, on ddtextilessalemregional@gmail.com or contacting on phone on 0427-2913006. Textile firms and federations are informed that the various stalls will include spinning, fabric, garments, home textiles, integrated manufacturers, brands from Tamil Nadu, technical textiles, sustainability, recycling, raw material, recycled textiles, and man-made fibre.
