Samsung is hosting a series of regional hackathons in the State, under its flagship Samsung Innovation Campus programme. According to a press release, the initiative has engaged over 350 students from institutions such as Anna University, Grace College of Engineering, and Mangayarkarasi College, and are undergoing intensive training and certification in emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things, and Big Data.
