Water level in Mullaperiyar dam stands at 131.55 feet

Water level in Mullaperiyar dam on Wednesday stood at 131.55 feet (the maximum permissible level is 142 ft.) with an inflow of 341 cusecs and a discharge of 1,000 cusecs. The level in Vaigai dam was 49.54 ft. (the maximum level is 71 ft.) with an inflow of 680 cusecs and a discharge of 69 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 6,661.61 mcft.
