Poll duty officials seized ₹32.5 lakh in cash being transported in a car at Honakatti check-post in Bagalkot district on Thursday. The driver said that the cash belongs to Veeresh Babu of Raichur and was being taken to Belagavi. Officials recovered the car and the cash as the driver could not produce proper documents. Investigation is on.
