The Visakhapatnam- SMV Bengaluru special train will be extended for five more trips instead of its regularisation proposed from March 5, 2026. This decision was taken by the Railway Board due to technical reasons. Train no. 08581 Visakhapatnam – SMV Bengaluru weekly Special Express will leave Visakhapatnam at 3.20 p.m. on Sundays from April 5 to May 3 and will reach Duvvada at 3.53 p.m. and depart at 3.55 p.m. to reach SMV Bengaluru on the next day at 12.45 p.m. (5 trips).
