The Tamizhaga Eri Mattrum Attrum Pasana Vivasayigal Sangam has urged the government to exempt agricultural equipment from the GST. In a resolution adopted at its State general body meeting, chaired by president P. Viswanathan, the association demanded that farm machines such as tractors and power tillers be exempted from GST and SGST.
