Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) chief Seeman at a campaign rally in Krishnagiri on Wednesday (March 25, 2026) said, “We will be left with no option than to be exiled from the country if power is given to people from north India.” Slamming competitive populism, Mr. Seeman claimed freebies has killed the will to work.

Mr. Seeman campaigned for Suganthi Parthiban, candidate for the Krishnagiri Assembly constituency, and Kavin, candidate for Bargur constituency.

According to Mr. Seeman, while the main parties are competing with each other to announce freebies, they are unable to provide free medicines, education, and water. “The DMK is unable to announce liquor prohibition. This was akin to providing in one hand and snatching away twice from the other,” he stated.

He also said that migrant workers from north India have come in to fill up the jobs available, and through the SIR exercise, they have been given voting rights as well.

Earlier, Mr. Seeman also campaigned in Kelamangalam for the party candidates, Narasimhan (Thally constituency), Stalin (Hosur constituency) and Nagaraj (Vepanapalli constituency).
