Grid discipline must for energy security, says SRPC Member-Secretary

Asit Singh, Member-Secretary, Southern Regional Power Committee (SRPC), on Wednesday called for heightened grid discipline, highlighting the essential role of Central Electricity Authority (CEA) regulations in project implementation and smooth operation of the power sector.

Delivering the keynote address at a regional workshop on CEA Regulations and Technical Standards — organised by the CEA in collaboration with NTPC Ltd. — Mr. Singh said strict adherence to drawal schedules and CEA regulations has become a non-negotiable necessity for national energy security.
