E-commerce platforms told not to follow unfair practices: Central govt. official

In his virtual address at a seminar on ‘Responsible use of AI in consumer products and services’ organised by Citizen consumer and civic Action Group (CAG) along with VIT Chennai, Mr. Mishra explained how artificial intelligence-enabled dark patterns were being used to manipulate consumers into making unfair choices.
