Nara Bhuvaneswari, wife of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, inaugurated a job mela at Government Degree College here on Wednesday (March 25) and later interacted with women at Pedda Kotamakana Palli village on the topics of employment generation, industrial growth and welfare initiatives in the Kuppam constituency.

Addressing students, she urged youth to think innovatively, set clear goals and depend on hard work. She noted that several companies came forward to offer around 5,000 jobs during the event and reiterated the government’s focus on large-scale job creation.

At the meeting, she said the government aims to develop Kuppam into “Swarna Kuppam” through investments and infrastructure. She said 17 industral units worth over ₹7,121 crore have been brought to the constituency. She also mentioned a proposed footwear manufacturing unit by Adidas and steps to promote solar energy.

Ms. Bhuvaneswari highlighted welfare measures, including pensions, ‘Thalliki Vandanam’ benefits and healthcare services through Sanjeevani clinics. She added that irrigation support through Handri Neeva and improved civic amenities are expected to further boost livelihoods and development in the region.
