Upon receiving the information about the presence of a live shell in the Kalgai forest area of Uri, a police team reached the spot, secured the area and took all necessary precautionary measures, they said. “A Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) team of Baramulla Police was deployed, which safely neutralised and disposed of the live artillery shell in accordance with established safety protocols,” the officials said.
