Thunderstorms forecast in 20 Telangana districts on March 26

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm forecast for 20 Telangana districts for Thursday (March 26, 2026)

According to IMD’s latest bulletin, thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvangiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkakjgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar and Nagarkurnool districts.

Hyderabad and its surroundings for the next 24 hours will see a partly cloudy sky. “Light to moderate rainfall or thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds are very likely to occur in parts of the city. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 35°C and 22°C respectively,” the bulletin said.
